At this year's conference, we are also partnering with the BC Children's Hospital to support their cause.

Our Winter Warm Wear Challenge - We are also asking delegates to participate in our District-wide Warm Wear Challenge that is taking place between our five secondary schools. During the months of September and October, prior to the BCSLC 09, each of five secondary schools will be collecting Winter Warm Wear from students and staff for the needy and homeless in our community. Items such as winter coats, thermal underwear, wool socks, toques, gloves and sweat jackets or fleeces will be collected and given away to our needy community during our random acts of super kindness on Super Saturday. So get in that closest or chester drawers in your house or at a relative's or friends, put on your own
campaign at your school, and help us warm up our homeless for their cold winter ahead.
